| Description: | CONSULTANT FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGISTS Parsons Dowd Psychological Ltd is a private company specialising in risk assessments within the court systems in England and Wales. Based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne our Registered Forensic Psychologists travel throughout the UK providing professional and impartial reports in child care proceedings, criminal trial matters and parole board hearings. We are seeking to recruit HPC Registered Forensic and/or Clinical Psychologists on a sessional basis to undertake assessments relevant to their specific areas of expertise and thereafter to produce comprehensive, evidence-based reports. Reports submitted by Parsons Dowd are for use in Court proceedings and, therefore, court attendance is to be expected. We would be particularly interested in working with professionals willing to undertake work in South Wales, South West England, Yorkshire, East Anglia and Humberside. In addition we would welcome liaison with psychologists who have experience of child and adolescent psychology. Interested professionals will need at least two years’ post-qualification experience and preferably experience at producing reports for use in legal proceedings.
