| Description: |
Job Title: Well-being Co-ordinators - Norfolk Salary: £16,840 - £22,450 pro rata Location: Norfolk: Scottow and Thetford Contract type: Part time
Rightsteps is a flagship pilot service developed by Turning Point that offers new and innovative ways to deliver an integrated, holistic psychological well-being service across the UK. What sets us apart from our peers is the introduction of Well-being Co-ordinators who can respond to the full range of health, social and economic needs, as well as holistic care packages that build on our extensive experience integrating wraparound services into our core delivery. We’re working in conjunction with Norfolk Prisons to ensure that it reaches its full potential. Now we’re looking for you to play your part too. We’re looking for a Well-being Co-ordinators in Scottow (Bure Prison) and Thetford (Wayland Prison) to deliver low intensity one-to-one interventions to prisoners. This key role will see you designing, shaping and implementing the service, giving you considerable responsibility for ensuring that everyone who requires access to a Mental Health Practitioner receives the relevant assessment and treatments. You will be responsible for supporting prisoners in the self-management of their recovery. What’s more, it will also be up to you to maintain coherent records of all clinical activity in line with service protocols. Through the undertaking of patient-centred interviews that identify areas where they wish to see change or recovery, you will ultimately ensure that the needs of vulnerable individuals are addressed in the best possible way. You’ll either possess a health related qualification or be able to demonstrate extensive experience of working with people who have mental health needs. Above all, you’ll be passionate about delivering effective mental health services and ready for the challenge of driving change through the system to ensure more people can access support. If you’re inspired by the social model of mental health that works holistically according to risk and need rather than diagnosis and would like to help us achieve our vision, we can offer a competitive remuneration package, pension scheme, and excellent training and development opportunities.
