| Description: | www.nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk Scottish Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service Astley Ainslie Hospital, Edinburgh Clinical Psychologist (Neuropsychology Service) Band 7: £30,460 - £40,157 pa, pro rata 18.75 hours per week Ref: ECHP/ES/015 This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Clinical Psychologist with an interest in Clinical Neuropsychology to join our Clinical Neuropsychology department. You will work within a specialist interdisciplinary neurorehabilitation service, with professional support and supervision from Clinical Neuropsychology colleagues. The Scottish Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service provides high quality assessment and rehabilitation to adults between the ages of 18 to 65 with a wide range of neurological conditions including acquired brain injury. You will be part of a busy interdisciplinary team providing services to a 36 bed inpatient unit, which takes referrals from across Scotland and provides outpatient follow up to patients and families from the Lothian area. The Clinical Neuropsychology department provides specialist teaching and training at local and national levels, maintains active research interests and has close links with the University of Edinburgh/NHS Scotland Clinical Psychology Training Programme. Professional development will be supported. The department is located in the beautiful grounds of the Astley Ainslie Hospital in Edinburgh, in easy travelling distance of the world renowned historic city centre.
