| Description: | Clinical Psychologist - Based in Oxford Part-time 0.5 FTE Salary AFC Band 8a The post holder will work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team providing Maggie’s integrated programme of psychosocial support to people affected by cancer and will be responsible for the systematic provision of a high quality and specialist programme of psychological and emotional support. You will be responsible for providing support to individuals, couples, families, carers and other people supporting those affected by cancer including health care professionals. The post holder will be responsible for contributing to the provision of Maggies programme of psycho educational support. This will involve facilitating support groups, networking groups, workshops and lectures. While being managerially and professionally accountable to the Centre Head the post holder will be working as a professional practitioner with accountability for their professional practise in relation to BPS professional guidelines and Maggie’s governance, supervisory and organisational policies and procedures. Applicants should have a postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS with post qualifi cation experience and training in cancer care or health psychology. You must have demonstrable experience within specialist area of oncology or health psychology.
